LESSON: STATES OF MATTER (PART 2)

... Yes, we will start doing our song for this Unit:

......................

What are we going to do in this lesson?

This lesson is the second part of our last lesson: STATES OF MATTER.

Let's remember:

- Matter has 3 states: SOLID, GAS and LIQUID.

Well, let's think about one example of liquid matter...

Yes! Water is the best example.

You have to know that water can have more than one state. Water can be LIQUID, but also SOLID and GAS.

This next video shows you how water changes its state:

If you need help to understand this in Spanish watch this next video:

That is how water changes states. But you have to know that with the use of force or with heat we can also change matter.

Matter also changes when we burn 🔥 it. This is called COMBUSTION. This next video shows you how combustion happens:

This is difficult to understand... So, if you need help you can watch this video in Spanish that explains you what is combustion. You only have to watch the video until minute 1:10 (solamente tenéis que ver el video hasta el minuto 1:10... Lo que cuenta después no tenéis que verlo porque no vamos a estudiarlo ahora)

AND THIS IS OUR LESSON'S SUMMARY:

SO... this is  YOUR HOMEWORK:

- Copying your Lesson's summary in your notebook.

- Please, review your summary from this lesson and also from your lasts lessons. Remember, you are going to learn it better if you explain it to someone in your family. If everybody is busy in your family you can pretend that you are the teacher and imagine that you are explaining it to your classmates.

Keep working hard!!
